Join us for a <strong>creative weaving workshop<\/strong> featuring <em><strong>the versatile rigid heddle loom!<\/strong><\/em> Over two hours (2h), we&#8217;ll delve into the basics of weaving and each create a beautiful piece using this fascinating tool. This workshop is specially designed for French learners, so not only will we explore new artisanal practices, but we&#8217;ll also practice our French together and engage with the artisan.<\/p>\n<h6><em>Here&#8217;s a preview of what we&#8217;ll be doing during the workshop:<\/em><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Introduction to weaving and presentation of the rigid heddle loom:<\/strong> We&#8217;ll learn how to use the rigid heddle loom, a versatile tool for creating various patterns.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weaving vocabulary:<\/strong> We&#8217;ll match words with the craft and practice specific weaving vocabulary in French, helping you enrich your vocabulary.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Basic techniques:<\/strong> We&#8217;ll go over the basic techniques of weaving, thread selection, and creating simple patterns.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Creating a woven piece:<\/strong> Using the techniques we&#8217;ve learned, you&#8217;ll create <strong>your own small woven piece<\/strong> to take home at the end of the workshop.<\/li>\n<li><strong>French discussions:<\/strong> Throughout the workshop, we&#8217;ll converse in French <strong>to practice the language<\/strong> while nurturing our passion for weaving.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This workshop <strong>will be fun<\/strong>, <strong>informative<\/strong>, <em>and most importantly,<\/em> <strong>interactive<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>No prior weaving experience is necessary, so come with <strong>your curiosity and eagerness<\/strong> to learn.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;re excited to share this creative moment with you!&#8221;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ever thought about trying your hand at a craft?
